Scarab

The small table Scarab adapts the graphic language previously used in other products by Goula/Figuera in an object and material never explored by the studio. In this case, the lines from Lines & Dots that draw in the air an sculptural shape, have a technical and aesthetical function: to hide the joints of the three glass pieces that give shape to the table and create a graphic composition never seen in this kind of objects.

Nevertheless, the most surprising part of Scarab can only be seen from up close, as the black lines are “trapped” within the glass, thanks to a thoughtful process of screen printing and laminated.
